The difference is did he leave the job because Pelosi forced him to or did he leave of his own accord because he realised he shit the bed on January 6 and that Pelosi's call-out was incidental? I think it's possible, even likely that he could have stayed on the job after that if he decided not to. It would have been ill-advised, but I think it still could have happened. And that's not even getting into far-right groups like The Proud Boys whose members were known to actively participate. And I could go on forever about why the claim that Antifa were behind the storming is utter bullshit, but I need to make some lunch, so I'll just say that the claim basically pimp-slaps willing suspension of disbelief.
