[Quranic Reflection]: The Romans destroying of the Jewish temple, would it happen?

[Quranic Reflection]: The Romans destroying of the Jewish temple, would it happen?
A group of Quranic verses that holds an explicit prophecy kept me wondering about its reflection for so long.

These are the verses:

Quote:Sura 17, The Quran:
https://quran.ksu.edu.sa/index.php?l=en#...rans=en_sh

( 4 )   And We conveyed to the Children of Israel in the Scripture that, "You will surely cause corruption on the earth twice, and you will surely reach [a degree of] great haughtiness.

( 5 )   So when the [time of] promise came for the first of them, We sent against you servants of Ours - those of great military might, and they probed [even] into the homes, and it was a promise fulfilled.

( 6 )   Then We gave back to you a return victory over them. And We reinforced you with wealth and sons and made you more numerous in manpower

( 7 )   [And said], "If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, [you do it] to yourselves." Then when the final promise came, [We sent your enemies] to sadden your faces and to enter the temple in Jerusalem, as they entered it the first time, and to destroy what they had taken over with [total] destruction.

It is obviously speaking about "Jews having control over Jerusalem" for two exact times in 2 different ages:

1-The first control ends up in "the ravaging of Jews from Jerusalem by a mighty army, great in military power". This happened before the Quran was revealed "notice the word 'sent'". This happened in the First Jewish-Roman War:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Jewi...3Roman_War

Quote:Result Roman victory, destruction of Jerusalem and its Temple
---------

2- Jews were victorious over "the same people" who ravaged them for the first time (i.e the Romans); their army was re-enforced with manpower and more wealth. This happened when a joint Jewish/Persian alliance defeated the Romans and retook Jerusalem -which had its name changed to Palaestina Secuda by the Romans:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palaestina_Secunda

Quote:In 614, both Palaestina Prima and Palaestina Secunda were conquered by a joint Sasanian-Jewish army.

---------

3-The third event is where the prophecy begins: the same enemies that Jews defeated in the past will sadden their faces (as the verse says) and enter the temple again just like they entered it the first time while destroying what the state of the Jews had taken over.

My assumption -as I had shown above with historical references- is that the "Romans" were the people who destroyed the Jewish temple first, then got defeated by the Jews. The prophecy says that the same people who won the first time, will invade and take the Jewish temple once again.

i.e the descendants of the Romans.

What matters though is that the descendants of the Romans are actually "eastern descendants (modern day Turkey) and western descendants (modern day western-Europe and the U.S).

Is the west going to attack Israel ?

Or is it Turkey?

The days will prove.

Prophecy = worthless excrement.

Divine prophecy = excrement that stinks to high heaven

Believers of prophecy = eaters of shit

Believers of divine prophecy = eaters or shit who really relish the smell

And what the prophet Anomalocaris means by "excrement" is obviously bars of gold, and thus the believers of prophecy, eaters of shit, translates as, "those who command great wealth."

It's as plain as the nose on my face.

 Plainer than even that.

I wouldn't bother, wh, just like I wouldn't bother with Hitler's cursing predictions about jews in "Mein Kampf" because both books are unrelentingly hostile toward the Jews, and everyone else.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Who cares? Why would a believer bother nonbelievers with religious "prophecy"?  Hehe

These verses don't qualify as prophecy. More like journalism. The Quran is describing events that already happened. How is that 'prophetic'?

Have you also noticed how there are never nice "prophecies" about Jews in Qur'an, only that the Jews will crash and burn?

Like, why aren't there prophecies in the Qur'an that Jews will win much more Nobel Prizes than Muslims who will have almost none?

Again, the aren’t prophecies. The First Jewish Revolt happened five centuries before Mohammad was born, and the Palestina Secunda incident happened while he was still alive.

It would be like me ‘prophesying’ The English Civil War or the election of Jacinda Ardern.
