The case is that the bould Enoch was suspended from his teaching job after refusing to refer to a transgender student by their preferred name or using the pronoun "they" when talking about the studend in the third person. Knowing the Burke family, I would not be at all surprised if he was bullying the child.
After being suspended pending disciplinary action, he kept turning up to the school to "teach", so the school got an injunction, which he promptly broke. Gardaí were called and removed him and the school requested remedy for the contempt. As a result the judge jailed him for two days to see id he would see sense, but after a hearing he refused to purge his contempt and will be in the Joy for at least another week, and likely until after his sacking.
Of course this muppet has destroyed his teaching career and his whole life because he just had to whip his bigotry out and start waving it around like a length of wavin.
In continuation the mouldy pillock remains in jail because he's too fucking stupid to admit he's wrong. Stick him in the oubliette and have done with it.
15 year old sex trafficking victim killed her rapist in his sleep. Now she must pay restitution to his family in the amount of $150,000. Fuck this prosecutor. I hope that prosecutor, whoever they are, suffers in the most inhumane way possible. I really do. And then I hope they're forced to pay restitution to their assailant. And then I hope they go homeless, and are forced to live on the streets for the remainder of their days. I hope that their family disowns them, and that people spit on them as they walk past.
I didn't gleam anything from the article indicating it was so but the prosecutor(s) may have been public. If so, he/she/they didn't really have any more choice than the judge. If you are an attorney working for the state, you don't get to choose which cases you work on. It works the same way for public defenders. I'm sure most of them don't enjoy defending rapists and murders but somebody has to do it.
They could have presented the case in such a way it got thrown out of the court. Instead they took the easy case to burnish their win record for when they go for bigger office.
