The US military is asking the public for help in locating a missing $80 million F-35 stealth fighter jet that disappeared over North Charleston, South Carolina.
But, you know, the US has a UFO crash retrieval program, that knows where any spaceship crashes in the world, and will be first on the scene to scoop it up.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

I'm sure someone is listing it on craigs.
Dunno how one loses a supersonic jet fighter in SC. Crew bailed okay. Must've been some excitement.

N. Charleston isn't exactly a remote area and SC is full of military bases as is neighboring Georgia and North Carolina.
Unless it went into the ocean, somehow unseen, I don't know how it could be lost. Unless it was truly stealth.

It turns out that it wasn't a spy balloon, and everything China said about it was true.
Quote:Now, seven months later, Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, tells "CBS News Sunday Morning" the balloon wasn't spying. "The intelligence community, their assessment – and it's a high-confidence assessment – [is] that there was no intelligence collection by that balloon," he said.

Also, you misrepresented what Gen Milley actually said, by omitting the final sentence of the article:
Quote:Milley replied, "I would say it was a spy balloon that we know with high degree of certainty got no intelligence, and didn't transmit any intelligence back to China."
[Emphasis added in both quotes-- Thump]
That renders this post of yours fundamentally dishonest.

^Kind of like saying, ‘I have a gun. But I didn’t shoot anyone, so it’s not really a gun.’

The reports I've read indicate the pilot ejected near two lakes. It may well be at the bottom of one.

Have they looked between the sofa cushions? That’s where I usually find stuff.

The pilot ejected safely after what the Marine Corps called a “mishap” near Charleston, S.C.
Bold mine - gotta love spin. It was an oopsy.

stealthy military aircraft operating in or near civilian controlled air space carry lungberg lens radar reflectors that allows it to be detected and tracked like normal aircraft by air traffic control radars. but air traffic control don’t have great coverage of low altitude, in hilly terrains, and far away from major airports, and don’t necessarily have great data refresh rate, so if the F-35 were operating below, say 1000 feet it may not show up on any radar or show up only intermittently.

Ain't no hills down Charleston way. It's barely above sea level.
