Argentinians regret their vote pretty fast as there is a massive protest in front of Argentina’s Congress against Javier Milei’s new austerity measures.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

BREAKING: Turning your state into The Handmaid's Tale is bad for business recruiting.
Quote:PANASONIC STRAYS AWAY FROM OKLAHOMA A SECOND TIME
“Volkswagen, Panasonic, Tesla and now Panasonic again have passed up on Oklahoma because they're feeling that they can't attract and retain high quality employees, when they tell them they must move to a state like Oklahoma,” Rep. Mickey Dollens (R-Oklahoma City) said.
“Unfortunately on that surface level alone, is enough for these companies to choose a different state or a different country altogether,” Rep. Dollens said.
Rep. Dollens largely blames education and healthcare laws as the reasons companies turn away from Oklahoma.
“You can incentivize a company with nearly $1 billion to move here, but they're still turning us down, and in my opinion it's because of the extreme conservative social issues, and policies that continue to get passed in the state,” Rep. Dollens said.
Governor Stitt said in a statement, he’s “hopeful the state can find another opportunity to partner with Panasonic in the future.”

A 14-year-old Florida teen fatally shot his sister in an argument over Christmas gifts, only to be shot moments later by his own teenage brother, authorities said.
The argument started when the brothers, ages 14 and 15, were out shopping on Christmas Eve Sunday with their mother and sister, and got into a spat over who was receiving more Christmas gifts.

Maine's top election official rules Trump ineligible for 2024 primary ballot (msn.com)
CAMDEN, Maine — Maine’s top election official ruled Thursday that Donald Trump is constitutionally ineligible to appear on the state’s primary ballot next year, fueling a national effort to disqualify the former president over his attempts to overturn the 2020 election.
The decision by Maine Secretary of State Shenna Bellows, a Democrat, follows a bombshell Colorado Supreme Court ruling last week that concluded the 14th Amendment to the Constitution prohibits Trump from serving in office again due to his role in the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol.
