Well, the opinion in the article was expressed online to an adult, much the same as yours here. That makes your opinions not very different from that quoted in the article and posted to the mother online -- except you wished more folk had died, while they only objected to her child-rearing. It only shows that when you spew hate, it's okay, but when someone else says it and you find it obnoxious, you channel your inner hypocrite.
We're each clearly focusing on separate aspects of the issue. You just do you.

^As I understand it, this is a story about a B-list actress who put her son in a dress. Some people objected, some people were ok with it. How is this 'noteworthy news'? It's a nothing burger.
