Why not just put two mutually exclusive groups, i.e. "Liberals" and "Non-liberals". Seems the easiest thing to do.

I wouldn't lump all liberals together with the communists and socialists, so please do me the decency of putting me in a group that actually represents my political beliefs, or don't put me in a group at all. Your a Libertarian Liberal, or as XKCD called it Internet Libertarians (March 12, 2011 at 3:48 pm)Ashendant Wrote:(March 12, 2011 at 11:24 am)Tiberius Wrote: Typical liberal eh? I was thinking the same thing :Urban Dictionary: 1.A smart ass on the internet that claims the economy can work itself out on its own, as long as there is no government regulation. This belief is usually based on the ECON 101 class they took a few years back. On closer inspection, most of the internet libertarian's facts don't check out. 2.internet libertarians are usually two or more of the following: white, nerdy, male, suburban, (hostilely) atheistic, and well-off. they usually have close-knit, supportive families as well. a true internet libertarian has never lived for long periods of time in anywhere but an affluent suburb. they are naive, sheltered fucks to a tee. they also tend to be less smug and vocal about their politics IRL - they fear (more) social rejection. internet libertarians are mostly Randites and Ron Paul Revolution groupies. you will find them preaching their Pollyanna-like views of wanton deregulation/decentralization/isolationism in any sufficiently nerdy online venue - think Slashdot, Reddit, or an imageboard with a political discussion section. they tend to be excessively fond of dense, idiosyncratic video games like TF2 and Minecraft Quote:"An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity. That's pretty much the same as half the people on this site... So no, I don't think I'm an Internet liberatarian at all. I came across libertarianism at university, whilst talking politics with my main group of friends. I don't have any problems discussing it with people IRL, in fact I enjoy pointing out all the holes in their political beliefs.
Aww c'mon! He hit home with a few more of those...
white : tick nerdy : tick male : tick suburban : tick (hostilely) atheistic : erm... tick well-off : tick usually have close-knit, supportive families as well : tick has never lived for long periods of time in anywhere but an affluent suburb : tick they are naive, sheltered fucks to a tee : tick I'll let you off with the rest (March 12, 2011 at 10:01 pm)Tiberius Wrote:(March 12, 2011 at 4:11 pm)HeyItsZeus Wrote: internet libertarians are usually two or more of the following: white, nerdy, male, suburban, (hostilely) atheistic, and well-off. they usually have close-knit, supportive families as well. a true internet libertarian has never lived for long periods of time in anywhere but an affluent suburb. they are naive, sheltered fucks to a tee. they also tend to be less smug and vocal about their politics IRL - they fear (more) social rejection.I think the only categories I hit there are white, nerdy, and male. And I will let you know that libertarianism is chock full of loop holes. But I use them in Halo. I think i feel suddenly invincible whenever i pick up an energy sword, banhammer, or shotgun. That would certainly explain how i go from being moderately cautious into a tunnel-visioned blood frenzy. Just... keep me away from the close range weapons. I won't either tunnel vision or bloodlust then Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam
