Sorry, I don't like bubble wrap... I'm human. What do you want from me, I was born this way! I love bursting bubblewrap
I struggle with the Kirk and Picard thing too.

I then moved to a hamlet which had about 5 houses in it for 2 years. I then moved to a college campus for a year, which was situated between a town and a village. Since then, I've lived in a village for about 3 years. In fact, the only time I've lived in what could possibly be called a suburb is when I moved to Cambridge for 3 months in 2010. But yeah, I suppose you would know more about where I come from than I do. Quote:(hostilely) atheistic : erm... tickAtheistic? Yes. Hostilely? No. Honestly fr0d0, I created a forum where theists are allowed to express themselves as much as atheists, where they are free to become respected members of staff, and where I repeatedly (along with a number of other Libertarian members) defend Christians and other religious groups from persecution by a somewhat large number of liberal "secularists" who believe that being secular means they get all the rights whilst rights are stripped away from religious believers. But hey, yeah, I'm a hostile atheist...sure. Quote:well-off : tickI'm not open to sharing my financial status online, but I'll have you know that during college I qualified for educational support, and during university I qualified for the maximum grant from the government to cover some of the cost of my student loans. I spent the very little money I had left on my second degree, in hopes that it will give me the boost I need when pursuing my career. But yeah, I guess I am well-off, with not a financial care in the world. I mean, if either of us would know, it'd be the guy who has never met me right? Quote:usually have close-knit, supportive families as well : tickYou know nothing about my family. End of. Quote:has never lived for long periods of time in anywhere but an affluent suburb : tick3 months in Cambridge, and that was still in university accomodation. Quote:they are naive, sheltered fucks to a tee : tickWell I guess that is just your opinion, however I doubt it is the opinion of a lot of people here, or of any of the people who actually know me.
Well, I'm male, 'black Irish" and not a nerd ---
----unless by that you mean having an IQ above ambient room temperature, read your actual books, having an intense dislike of most sports, think people who deliberately go camping are mentally unwell, and think reality television is the nadir of civilisation. RE: The Liberal Section (USA EDITION)

Why do you need to label anybody??
They are just people surrounded by circumstances "The Universe is run by the complex interweaving of three elements: energy, matter, and enlightened self-interest." G'Kar-B5
@ Adrian
To be described as suburban is less about geographical precision than attitude of mind. Village/ hamlet dwellers are suburbanites of the enhanced kind in my experience. (Hostilely) Atheist ... was a joke, entirely. I respect your near Christian atheism You are well off. Live with it. You've had a privileged upbringing, confirmed by you IRL friend peps. Please don't try any student poverty bullshit with me. It won't wash. I'd be pushed to imagine your family to be in the least bit dysfunctional. You've shared enough with me for me to tell that. No biggie. |
