Nope, Winchester from my memory was east coast. Some northern state. Think West coast. I've actually been to the city/town I am asking people to guess. At risk of making it too easy, the character goes by a two letter nickname. And if you guess right, your answer would be golden, but yet slightly north.

The two letter nickname would be BJ Hunnicut. But he was not from the northern west coast. He was from California. Which doesn't happen to be northern...even on the west coast.
