Citation fucking needed! By what measure are people more compassionate now than they were 2,000 years ago?!?

Free will seems to be a magic "get out of jail free" card for you. If you can't explain something, then magically free will does. Please do expand on this and explain exactly how only free will can account for why some are more compassionate then others. Well in this case, free will would explain why some people will not be getting out of jail, at least not anytime soon --- they haven't accepted Jesus' sacrifice, so there's a deficit of love for their fellow human beings, in their hearts.

What I’d like to know are the answers to the questions I’ve already asked you.
Boru I've already explained how Jesus' sacrifice brought about a greater good. As for what texts I've read that sound like they could've been written by Jesus, I'm not telling you.
That’s not quite what I asked you. I want to know why the discord was necessary for the greater good when that could have been accomplished without the discord.
I’ll rephrase, since you seem to have trouble grasping what I mean:
You claimed that God sometimes creates discord as a means of accomplishing a greater good. I pointed out a means whereby Jesus could have avoided the discord and achieved the same result. So - what use was the discord?

It makes a difference. Fact (factual) would be agreed on by everyone, religious, atheist or whateverist. I doubt even within your religion everyone would agree with your original 'factual' statement. There isn't a single thing everyone in the world agrees on.

Boru Your guess is as good as mine. But I know God never does anything, unless it serves the greater good.

If you know what you're saying would be considered crazy, then you're not crazy, you're a troll.

In the primitive monarch system, the people were expected to perceive their king (aka, overlord tyrant) as good even though the opposite was true. The god concept was mirrored after such a corrupt system.
