The Vikings never wore horned helmets; the first historical reference to such was from Richard Wagner’s 19th century opera Der Ring des Nibelungen.

All available evidence to the contrary, I maintain that the Vikings DID have horns on their helmets. But the horns were on the inside, which is what made them so cranky.

Mastodon lets you export a list of your followees as a CSV file, something Twitter never had and sorely needed.

Just flip the server and user name, prepend https:// and append .rss to each line, and you've got a list of RSS feeds so you can catch up on what everybody is tooting.

Another benefit with a plasma set, is that in the evening, I don't need to use the furnace as much.
