An infinite progress

RE: An infinite progress
God is uncaused, uncreated. If we were symbolically in a line with the 100 greatest philosophers, theologians, scientists moving forward to understand how God doesn't require a beginning, we would soon encounter a hedge that would stop everyone. Looking down the line, no one had advanced even a smidgen further than anyone else. What we do know is there isn't a God of the 2'nd power, 3'rd, in perpetuity.
Atheist Credo: An universe by chance that also just happened to admit the observer by chance.

Incorrect, the god concept is created by a sickness of the religious mind.

Your first sentence is an existential fallacy:  You haven't yet demonstrated that your god even exists, so telling us that it's uncaused and uncreated is rather premature.  How would you even know that, mortal?  How would you collect the evidence required to prove such a thing?  For starters, you'd need a time machine to go back to at least the start of this universe, and demonstrate that your god was already there.

(And what a daft use of the phrase "What we do know"!  What's wrong with simply saying "What we believe"?  I have no good reason to doubt that you have a belief, and plenty of reasons to doubt that you possess actual knowledge that corroborates your claim.)

I was raised in a religious household, and I'm not sick at all.

The meek shall inherit the Earth, the rest of us will fly to the stars.

But you definitely won't be flying into space within this lifetime. So when do you plan on flying to the stars?

I quite agree, but maybe my grandchildren will fly, but ... what has that got to do with you proving that your sky fairy exists?

Well, God isn't a "sky fairy", but I get what you mean. God can do with your soul, whatever He wishes to do with it. If He wanted you to be reincarnated as a house fly, then that might happen. If He wanted you to be reincarnated as a giraffe.......etc. But your intention means something, as well. Meaning, if you wanted to explore space, and that was a sincere desire in your heart, but you couldn't explore space while being alive, God would make sure that you could, eventually, explore space, in some earthy form or another.

So can the great wibble wobble, now show me your evidence for this god instead of telling me what you think he/it can do

What is a soul?  Do you believe in reincarnation?

Those who believe in reincarnation recognize that the ego is destroyed in death (otherwise we would remember past lives).  They believe that some core of who we are carries on, and can learn with each life to move towards enlightenment.  This is very different from the Christian idea of simply waking up in heaven (or hell) with ego intact.

Also, in Buddhism, reincarnation is considered to be a curse.  The idea is to leave the wheel of death and rebirth, and the "core of who we are" will enter some new phase, but perhaps without our past egos, and certainly not as a simple continuation of earthly life.

I don't believe in souls.  I believe that our identity is something that emerges from the operation of the mind.

Why do you care about evidence so much?
