Feel free to go fuck yourself any time now....

Nothing about them feeling it necessary in that sentence. Apparently you speak some special, backwoods dialect, popular among cloven-hooved inbreds where bitch is a pronoun and the word 'necessary' means something else.

This is the first sentence.  Is that what you are referring to?

Just 23% of people who are pregnant in the U.S. have received at least one shot of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Why does that upset you?  It's a grammatically correct sentence and using the word "people" in this context doesn't even suggest an authoritarian PC police.  It sounds more clinical than anything else.  I really don't see anything that should bother anyone.  I'm frankly more surprised you would listen to NPR.  Doesn't seem like your cup of tea.  I absolutely never listen to Fox News or my blood pressure would soar.

It's faux outrage. If he doesn't read something that gets his undies in a bunch several times a day, he feels he's not doing his civic duty as a patriot.

RE: Too PC for me.
When I think about this more it gets even more strange to be upset when some person or some journalist uses terms/language in such a way as to avoid insulting someone. I mean, the piece communicated the same information, right? They just chose the words they felt were best in that case. People speak and write things all the time and sometimes it can get wordy or confusing; that would be a good reason to be annoyed. Does it really make sense to get angry about the words people choose to use, especially if they are avoiding an insult? No one is saying you have to use those words; they just chose to do it of their own volition. Just seems like there are more important things to worry about.

Now, when someone is outright lying about something; that's a good reason to get angry about it. Journalists do this a lot, too, which segways back to why I don't watch Fox News.

Where in the OP do you see " outrage" you sniveling old bitch ?

"Annoying" is not synonomous with " outrage" .

If you are unclear with the definition of annoying - consult a mirror.

Oh look. A piece on Fox news about the CDC referring to "pregnant people." Must be just a coincidence.

https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/greg-gut...ses-gender

Quote:The Centers for Disease Control is at it again. Yesterday, these bozos issued an urgent health advisory for pregnant people to get the covid vaccine. It was so urgent they forgot there’s a name for what kind of people get pregnant.

To them, it’s not pregnant women. Its pregnant people, which include men, as well as women, and probably some woodland creatures and a box of frogs.

And so we're supposed to believe these are medical experts? Hell, Jill Biden’s more of a doctor than these asses.

How can they completely erase the biological differences between men and women Hell, I’ve done that, but never intentionally. I was at a party and it was dark. And I didn't see the adam’s apple because of the height difference.

Faux. Outrage.

You. Moron.

You. Astroturf.

I still think NPR is one of the better networks... The tone and bias has a lot to do with which affiliate station it comes from.... And of course they air BBC stuff too - so you get different perspectives.....
