Most people who get pregnant are women. I haven’t really met any trans men who say they would ever want to get pregnant. They’re a minority within a minority so I don’t really expect them to come up in day to day conversation.

But if they do, it’s not like I’m going to make a big deal out of it either.

Just don’t be a jerk and cut people enough slack that you can assume they aren’t trying to be jerks and we can get along.

I hack off the ends from time to time, that’s about it. I generally wear it in a braid and it reaches my lower back.

Think about it this way: isn't it weird that we resolve to treat people in a certain way and assign them social roles based on if they have a "long and dangly" swinging between their legs? But that's gender norms for you. Certain people don't want to conform to these norms. That's all.

I'm not applying social pressure or anything. (I think "social pressure" might be your real gripe anyway.) What I do is try to treat trans people with dignity and respect... including respecting their pronouns. I don't feel the need to buy into whatever pronoun package is being sold, nor am I offended by it. I just try to be decent toward everybody. I think a similar attitude might suit you, Biker.

My points were: don't worry too much about social pressure (shit you hear on the media counts here). Gender norms are kinda dumb. Just treat people with respect, and don't worry.
