Transgenders sometimes suffer from cancer and heart disease; no surprise, being human beings, that some transgenders would also suffer from mental illnesses also. Conservatives, with their devotion to small sample sizes, love these sorts of "proof cases", so typical of their Biblical exegesis also.

The Daily Wire, or should I say conservative Christians, made a "documentary" that seems to spread fear and hysteria that trans people are destroying the world.

The title of the documentary is "what is a woman" where they are talking to random people asking them this question in an attempt to mock them because who are people to individually decide who they are.

So you see what Christian conservatives loathe the most: individuality. They still want a patriarch like the pope or Jordan Peterson or some other asshole, not only to decide who is a male and who is a female but everything else because they want to manipulate people and are therefore spreading the claim that people are too stupid to make any decision for themselves.

Especially when you see the protagonist of the documentary connecting most with males of some tribe in Africa where they live in a strictly patriarchal society where men are allowed to have many wives who are sold to them by their fathers and are slaves to their husbands.

BUDAPEST, Hungary – World swimming’s governing body effectively banned transgender athletes from competing in women’s events on Sunday.

FINA members widely adopted a new "gender inclusion policy" on Sunday that only permits swimmers who transitioned before age 12 to compete in women’s events. The organization also proposed an "open competition category."

"This is not saying that people are encouraged to transition by the age of 12. It’s what the scientists are saying, that if you transition after the start of puberty, you have an advantage, which is unfair," James Pearce, who is the spokesperson for FINA president Husain Al-Musallam, told The Associated Press.

“No one quite knows how this is going to work. And we need to include a lot of different people, including transgender athletes, to work out how it would work,” he said. “So there are no details of how that would work. The open category is something that will start being discussed tomorrow.”

You take Hungary's word for "what the scientists are saying"? This is a transphobic and homophobic macho culture.

Their take is "any testosterone in the past is a permanent advantage in all sport, at all levels"? I defy them to find evidence that this is true.

The documents were filed in L.A. County by Xavier Musk ... at least that was the name she was given at birth, but now -- having turned 18 in April -- she says she wants her name to be Vivian Jenna Wilson.

In the docs, she says she wants to be recognized as female -- but the name change isn't just about her transitioning, there's clearly a rift with dear ol' Dad. Vivian lists her reason for the name change as ... "Gender Identity and the fact that I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form."

Are all transgenders banned, or, are just transgender females?

Trans females who didn't transition by the age of 12 are banned from female competitions. Cis men are also banned from female competitions. Non-binary people who are biologically male are also banned from competing in female sports. Non-binary people who are biologically female are allowed to compete in women's sports even though they are not women, because gender is really entirely irrelevant and it comes down to sex, unless one has transitioned by the age of 12. I believe FTM are allowed to compete in the men's category.

The Hungarian government did not make this decision. It came from FINA, which has membership from all these countries, and it was the International Olympic Committee that urged a shift away from focusing on testosterone levels https://www.fina.org/members/national-fe...ll&country=

The members voted 71.5% in favor at the organization’s extraordinary general congress after hearing presentations from three specialist groups – an athlete group, a science and medicine group and a legal and human rights group – that had been working together to form the policy following recommendations given by the International Olympic Committee last November.

The IOC urged shifting the focus from individual testosterone levels and calling for evidence to prove when a performance advantage existed.
