Hi everyone :)

Hello! 
I am from France (please excuse the English mistakes, I will try to not commit too much of them^^) and am currently an atheist. I have had many different religious/spiritual beliefs in my life: was raised Christian, got into new age stuff when I was 14 (reincarnation, charas, even tried to learn telekinesis... fun memories I must say x) ). Then just abandoned specific beliefs around 16/17 yo, which led me to a vague deistic/pantheistic view of the world until my philosophy classes during my last high school year, which led me more towards atheism/materialism/rationalism I guess.
I am now 24, but only some months ago have I revealed to my parents that I am no longer a Christian, and I kind of regret it... It was much easier to pretend than to watch them being disappointed (they are being kind and do not show it but still I can see it). Hope that I will be hearing from some other fellow apostates here

Sounds like you’ve had quite the belief journey. We usually require new members to bring tacos, but in your case, we’ll settle for bichon au citron .
