Came across this in my German-learning travels, possibly the most surreal anti-theism rant I've ever seen. I haven't looked up a full translation of the lyrics (which are clearly shown in the video), because I'd rather (slowly) work them out for myself as part of the learning process, but the chorus alone speaks volumes:

"Hey du da oben"
(Hey you up there)
"Hörst du mich schreien?"
(Do you hear me scream?)
"Gott muss ein Arschloch sein"
(God must be an asshole)
"Lässt uns hier unten"
(Let's us down here...)
ein Meer aus Tränen weinen
(...cry a sea of tears...)
"Gott muss ein Arschloch sein"
(God must be an asshole)

Fun Fact: Johnny Marr has recently objected to Donald Trump using "Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want" at his rallies.

So, here's a song whose composer I suspect wouldn't mind if Trump uses at his rallies:

Then again, I suspect Trump might think it's somehow about Biden.

I assume it's only played to inspire the MAGA faithful to vacate the premises after the rally anyway.

Evidently, "The Most Unwanted Song" is a lot harder to perform live than one would think.

Maybe finding a more enthusiastic child chorus would have helped it.

If you were wondering about what the fuck you just listened to, here's Dave Soldier explaining it:
Dave Soldier Wrote:The most unwanted music is over 25 minutes long, veers wildly between loud and quiet sections, between fast and slow tempos, and features timbres of extremely high and low pitch, with each dichotomy presented in abrupt transition. The most unwanted orchestra was determined to be large, and features the accordion and bagpipe (which tie at 13% as the most unwanted instrument), banjo, flute, tuba, harp, organ, synthesizer (the only instrument that appears in both the most wanted and most unwanted ensembles). An operatic soprano raps and sings atonal music, advertising jingles, political slogans, and “elevator” music, and a children's choir sings jingles and holiday songs. The most unwanted subjects for lyrics are cowboys and holidays, and the most unwanted listening circumstances are involuntary exposure to commericals and elevator music. Therefore, it can be shown that if there is no covariance—someone who dislikes bagpipes is as likely to hate elevator music as someone who despises the organ, for example—fewer than 200 individuals of the world's total population would enjoy this piece.

The most-viewed upload of the "Most Unwanted Music" on YouTube has 42,000 likes. Its "Most Wanted" counterpart, designed to be uncontrollably liked by 72% of the population (give or take about 12%), has only 3600. Admittedly, the "most wanted" video has about 1/7 of the views of its "unwanted" counterpart, but still.

I am normally not into country music and especially not banjo music. But I am officially a Swifty for this song. I love her for this.

Swift was never really country, though. Much like Shania, she is more pop.

The hottest circle of Hell is specially reserved for people who don't like banjo music. Wink
