Mozart. Big Grin
“Whoever will be free must make himself free. Freedom is no fairy gift to fall into a man's lap. What is freedom? To have the will to be responsible for one's self.” - Max Stirner.

Rameau, amazing composer. Also the inventor of fundamental bass musical analysis which is what much of modern music theory is based on today.

Called the games people play... a favorite from early childhood, but the lyrics...it may be hard for some of you to beleive thatit was made in the USA.

Confusedhock: I just listened to this song for the first time in years 2 days ago! I'm not really a big fan of hers, but this song is beautiful.

"I'm a little bit tired of fearing that I'll be the bad fruit nobody buys" < My fave line in the song.
"No-one who decides that scientific evidence is not for him and that his own experience or the stories of others is the be all and end all of deciding what's true ever has the right to call people searching for reliable, repeatable evidence narrow-minded. That is hypocrisy of the most laughable kind." Derren Brown - Tricks of the Mind.

Here's a few songs from one of my favorite bands. They're all very awesome!

(best lyric ever: "you wasted life, why wouldn't you waste the afterlife?")

Some of my favorite harpsichord music.

Very hypnotic English renaissance piece:

Have no idea why this isn't the most famous piece in the whole world. Should be up there with the Moonlight sonata in reputation:

Harpsichord concerto by Bach's eldest son (Bach's sons were actually more famous than he was during the time he lived. The opposite is true now.)

And I'll throw in one lute (theorbo to be specific) video for good luck:

Lately I have not been able to get this one out of my head:

And I absolutely love this particular version of this song:

EDIT: Oooh, I just have to add this one too, for sentimental reasons Big Grin

When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura
