It’s not actually sudden. More that they’re suddenly deciding that “CRT” is why they do it.
We have always been at war with Eastasia. I think a bayonet charge is a good analogy, and we might want to be a little wary of the overconfidence some people have had when facing one. White separatist shit was and still is prolific on childrens content streams. They’re winning the hearts and minds front. Unremarkably average people believe ludicrous shit. Shit with a very specific purpose.

I don't disagree with debate about what's best to teach young students, but its pretty clear to me that outlets like Fox news and others have intentionally skewed the subject of CRT to their own agenda, which is to once again find a way to make white people fear black people. Its happened over and over in our country. My own father started a tirade about confederate statues and ended it with "now their teaching white kids to hate themselves". He's almost 80, so I don't push back too hard. But its sad how manipulative people can be.

Fox news is expert!  Its clear they have you brainwashed.And for your information, I do get information from reliable sources. One step in that is finding multiple sources and considering their agendas and motivations and comparing what each has to say. But you just keep listening to Fox news. I doubt you would understand anything else. I linked a short video of a college professor explaining her own course on CRT and you wouldn't even watch that. So who is the doofus with a little opinion here?

I don't have to be an expert in every area. I just have to use what skills and knowledge I do have to figure out who actually are the experts, see if they agree, and try to understand how their interpretations match the data. It helps to have some actual science knowledge. Critical thinking skills are built up over a lifetime. Use it or lose it.
