RE: Veridican Argument for the Existence of God
Fantastic, you've just shown me that god is a man made concept and exists no where else except in humans minds. Congratulations.

Edit: Could we (the forum community) interest you in creating an introduction thread so that we can get to know each other better?
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.

No matter how you dress it, bullshit is still bullshit.

God is, after all, the entire physical universe

Your assumption is also your conclusion.  Fail.

None of those Axioms are testable, except #2 (which is just an acknowledgement of reality existing)

I am willing to entertain the possibility of 1 through 5, but I do not see the logical necessity for any of them.

#6 is just junk. By this logic, the "one thing that exists" is part Chevy Malibu, because we know a Chevy Malibu exists, and the axioms say only one thing exists, therefore that one thing must be part Chevy Malibu.

Axiom 1 is logically self-refuting bullshit. How can nothingness be a state of affairs? Nothingness, by definition, cannot be anything, because then it would be something, not nothing. You haven’t demonstrated in axiom 3 that physical reality itself can’t exist necessarily and that it requires a god, so that one fails. Axiom 6, which attempts to get around the possibility of physical reality existing necessarily, is nothing more than an unsupported assertion with no rational justification whatsoever. Your just crammed your conclusion into the last premise.

#4 Equivocation;
#5 More equivocation;
#6 Composition fallacy;
#1-#6 Begging the question.

So, what you're saying is that you don't exist?

I think that I can live with that.

Word games and equivocations. If you need to do any of this, you have nothing worthwhile.

Rev Edward J. Gordon appears to be an idiot. As has been ably pointed out, there are glaring and egregious errors in that non-argument that wouldn’t be made by a first year logic student.
