If that is truly what you believe, Ahriman, kindly refrain from saying anything at all about morality.
Why?

Before we get sidetracked, I’d like an answer to my question:

Do you truly believe that a person who rapes children is no better and no worse than a person who does not rape children?

Better or worse, in what way? Fundamentally, they are no better or worse.

That’s all I needed to know.

Of course they are worse, they are harming the well being of other conscious beings.

So, then a person who rapes you, is no worse than a person that doesn't rape you? How about a person who would save you from being raped? Better or worse than a person who would rape you?

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

Because you refuse to make moral judgments about human behaviour.

Well, why should I? It's not my place to judge anybody like that. As soon as you start judging others, you are now open to being judged yourself, and there's always something to judge about anyone. Of course, even if you aren't judging others, others can still judge you, but in that case, they wouldn't have the right, since you're not doing the same to them.

Stop judging people for unilaterally judging you.

This may come as a bit of a shock to you, Ahriman, but I have absolutely no problem whatsoever with being accurately judged for my actions. That's the kind of information that makes me better.

(I am, however, utterly fucking ruthless with anyone who lies about me - which I think is an eminently fair trade-off.)
