Excuse for whom? I don't think I've met more than a handful of people who come here for cultural enrichment. It's the host culture that gets that..and we don't need excuses - we'll buy it if it won't come. More than a few because there just wasn't anywhere else to go...but..most seeking the better life our melting pot has afforded us all. That whole Best Civilization thing, right? Isn't that where I'm from, the best country on earth - from many..one?

No need. I can tell that you misunderstand entirely. You think we import people for cultural enrichment - but we don't. We import labor. That should clear things up. If you thought that multiculturalism was bad because cultural enrichment was bad or a raw deal - you're in luck. That's not why we do multiculturalism.

Non westerners are not imported for cultural enrichment. It is however the excuse given, which is what I said. They are motivated by the economic benefits of western countries, that's why they come. 

How come those pushing for multiculturalism in the west, and who give the excuse of cultural enrichment, don't do the same for non western countries? 

And how come anyone in the west who says "hold on a minute, this is my country and I'd appreciate it if it stayed that way" are immediately labelled as racist? If a nigerian said the same, there would be no criticism or accusations of racism. It's a double standard. Non westerners are allowed to be ethnocentric, but not westerners.

Are you concerned with multiculturalism, or nigerians..chiefly? I can't help you with the second thing.

I do, from people who think multiculturalism has value...and, ofc, I just said as much myself earlier in thread.  As far as other countries being more ethnocentric than we are - yeah..obviously, also a problem for those people.

The point I'm making is that 1) the motivation for non westerners to come to the west is purely for economic benefit, and that "cultural enrichment" is the excuse, and 2) most people in non western countries wouldn't want their countries to be multicultural. 

The reason why you have countries in the first place is because people wish to have a homeland where they can live according to their own culture. Mix them all together and you lose them all. People instinctively understand this. 

If you get a pot and put into it lots of crayons of different colors, what do you end up with? No more yellow, blue, green, red, etc. All gone.

By the way, why do you capitalise the b in black?

to put it bluntly, people who are willing to desert the society of their birth in search of economic enrichment elsewhere are the best, most energetic, most proactive people on earth.  They are the people who make opportunities where there are none before.  any society which wants to increase its future potential wants to get their hands on these people. 

people who think their own society is really the best are the dregs of humanity, the foam on top of the bucket of piss of misanthropic complacency.  any society which really wants to increase its future potential should get rid of them.    oh, wait, is that you?   so sorry.

I have, repeatedly. Anyone who thinks multiculturalism is a good thing to engage in is going to think that..about everywhere. That's sort of contained in what it means to think multiculturalism is a good thing. If that;s your complaint with multiculturalism, you are..again, simply wrong.

because non-western countries, except japan, are not facing demographic death?

and japan, in an blaze of selflessness decided it should act as an warning to other of what happens when a developed society rejects multiculturalism, has put itself on track to losing half of its popukation by the end of this century, and making sure it’s dwindling number of young working age japanese will be supporting three post retirement geezers,  so any vestige of economic vitality japan still has in the year 2100 will drain away as the few young productive worker it has left decided cultural contribution not withstanding, china and india offer more economic opportunities with less overhead?

seriously, all major western countries are facing demographic death, except france, thanks to immigration from north africa, and the US, thanks to immigration from the rest of the world, but primarily latin america.

rather than “cultural contribution”, nativists of your ilk is really accelerating the progress of the western world towards irrelevancy through demographic death, and the progress of western culture towards the status of an interesting, maybe even lemented, historic curiosity.
