That one. My life would've had to have played out differently for my fantasies to become reality. I would need to have friends, I would need to be skinny (like I used to be)......the soul forge is a necessary belief, because I don't want my suffering to be for nothing.

You don't need a soul forge to make friends or lose weight, ahri. In fact, I bet you could kill two birds with one stone on that one.

At any rate, the soul forge contention is a no go for giving you the meaning you seek, even if there were a soul forge your suffering would be for naught, because the soul forge isn't functioning properly - nor could it, due to human nature.

RE: A different perspective
For as much as so-called “normal” people dislike anti-social people, anti-social people are actually much closer to the truth (in their thinking) than the “normal” people. I mean it’s really not even close, when I say “much closer to the truth”. An anti-social person’s opinions/beliefs/perceptions will always be more logically correct than a normal person’s. It can be argued, that it would be much wiser, to base the human world (how it works, what it values, etc.) on an anti-social person’s world view, as opposed to the world view of a normal person.

Im not sure that anti social behaviors, tendencies, or disorders actually grant any logical superpowers. If what we have here is an example of the alleged product of that...well....

Are you using anti-social interchangeably with introvert?

Not really. Anyone can be an introvert, but there aren't all that many logical people.

Just as a minor question - didn't you get that a bit backwards? Wouldn't it be anti social people who don't like "normal" people?

Uh huh. So, any more idea why anti social x's would somehow make it so that a persons opinions beliefs and perceptions are always logically right (or more logically right), and are you an example of that in action?

You mentioned that one of your frustrations was that you wished you had more friends, or a friend. I suspect that might be pretty rough for a person to both strongly desire friends and feel that this is so crucial to the cessation of their suffering that in luie of friends they propose a malfunctioning cosmic machine....and being anti social. Nothing about that strikes me as particularly logical, let alone logically right, but hey...

Meanwhile, in mere reality, people dealing with anti social disorders are very often beset by massively incorrect apprehensions and beliefs, specifically about themselves and other people. Things based in no fact, things produced by no logic, and things which harm their wellbeing. You'd have to be smoking crack to think that premising our society on something like that is anything other than your latest bad take in a list of uniformly bad takes.

Can we add smoking crack to the list of problems you have to whine to us about?
