I dont mind. I used to care about politics and honestly kind of went insane. Trying to let shit like that go for now lol. I've become super introverted so its weird for me even to do this. Has anyone felt self hatred for their views because I have become a very self negative person.

I follow a guy on Twitter who has such extreme social anxiety and introversion that it's a struggle for him to leave his apartment. On Twitter, though, he is very open and outgoing, and posts handsome selfies almost every day. 

It works for some people.

Thank you. Is it normal that I have apprehension about athiests even though I am one. I have some right leaning views and for some reason have lingering stigma of atheists in my head.

Entirely normal, at least as I've seen it.  Just because you're one thing, doesn't mean that you (like so many others) weren't raised to be another.

I'm there about different things myself, having never been a theist. I know that I hold unrepresentative views about people and groups that I might, today, count myself among, or at least an ally to. Fun experience, no?

Welcome. The more recently the separation from religion, the more likely you are to feel anxious about it. It gets better. Personally when I realized I was an atheist it was like a load off my shoulders, but YMMV.

I was a late bloomer when it comes to sex, my denomination (United Pentecostal Church) was very repressive sexually (select only a date who would make a good mate!). What we did was more like courting than dating, and sex before marriage was prohibited (and they took it about as seriously as most Muslims I've met). It took awhile to get over, but I'm much better now. Don't expect your sex life to change over night, if you took your denominations sexual prohibitions seriously.

It might help you to talk to a therapist if you want to adjust more quickly.

I was working as a volunteer at Kaiser Permanente Hospital's Center for Victims of Sexual Assault. Due to the lack of trained professionals volunteers like me were taught to conduct counseling sessions of sex violence survivors. I am a man, and I have never been abused sexually. But I know how tough it could be for survivors to talk about their experiences. This was a secular counseling; however, if a survivor wanted to discuss her religious beliefs we were prepared for that. There were male victims as well, but my patients were all women.
I do not know the exact nature of your incidents and, may be, i am outstepping my boundaries, and, if this is the case, i apologize for that. I wish you full recovery from any kind of trauma that you may have sustained.
