  1. Trolling is not allowed. Troll behavior includes, but is not limited to repeatedly:
    • Making provocative posts.
    • Making posts that are unrelated / irrelevant to the thread or conversation subject.
    • Disrupting normal discussion.
    • Provoking specific members by referring to them negatively on your profile/signature.
So whats the hidden trolling rule I've broken. tell me and i'll adapt my behaviour politely. There's no need to point the finger at me and boot me off. you'll find I'm a reasonable human being.

You'll have to excuse my reluctance to believe you.  Here, preschool kids are 3-4 years old and I would imagine when not running around like maniacs on the playground are learning letters, shapes, colors, and some early math concepts. While not impossible, I am, understandably, doubtful you were perusing children's encyclopedias and having an existential crisis/Religious epiphany.

No disrespect intended.

I think I get I should not support talking about childhood sexuality quite right to and it's not really point of my story.

I think I must have given you the wrong impression in my story. My dad leaving the church may have played a role and the encyclopedia wasn't exactly that advanced even for a 4 year old and It's more that once I had seen this encyclopedia I found bible stories boring. So rather than really question religion I just saw boring old stories vs interesting things like robots and rockets.
No offence taken perhaps I should have put the reasoning closer to my 4 year old self rather than my adult interpretation.
It's not just bible stories either I find fiction uninteresting. That doesn't mean I read that much when I was 4 just that I turn my way towards non fiction. I was quite lucky actually when I first started school my dyslexia spotted straight away and I was given good help, I was one of the top in the class for maths and science, languages not so much so illustrations played a role more but I was taught to read to some degree with bible stories.
I was no child genius sorry if I gave that impression.
I was a little more precocious than most as a child though.
My 7 year old nephew I personally think is the top in my family in terms of intelligence. He was using a kids tablet quite well at 2 and a half. I just spoke to him the other day and yes I was not that smart when I was his age.

If the outline of what you say is true, then it seems more likely you were influenced at age 4 by your father losing his faith than you were precocious enough at age 4 to divine the contradiction between children’s encyclopedia and regions doctrine.

But as with lots of other stuff you posted, you probably made it up.

My earliest memory was at age 4. It was so very brief and fainting. I do not comprehend any ability to make decisions beyond eating, toileting, etc. Losing one's religion at age 4 seems profound!

I thought of a better way to point out how I lost my faith with my dad. My dad right he can put ten tons of effort in on a project but he finds it so hard to learn new material and he really tries. Me I can learn quite quick at full pace, When I was a teenager I could do quite a lot of tasks at the same time well. However I cannot for the life of me and could not for the life of me get enough effort past small code projects and very small websites. I have the executive functioning of a reasonably well functioning five year old but yes I know to avoid trouble and work on my manors. I told the voices affecting my head I will get them I saw bs and I was angry and I do keep a clock on reality.it's easier to disrupt a mind than to read a mind a lot easier. If that's schizophrenia then I am all the way to the bank working in only forward any which way or how. Anyway me and my dad are like polar opposites of mind. So you can imagine how hard he found it and how I found it. That sort of situation in the earlish 80's and my 3 other siblings going to church what an ordinary life can achieve.

I'll be the first to admit I score high on tests for Asperger's Syndrome. I am a social klutz and I almost always fail to detect anything amiss with posts from new members when a dozen other people see all kind of red flags. In a social setting, I often can't tell shit from shinola.

I have to say though that the OP rings a few bells. I wasn't reading encyclopedias at 4 years old but I do remember kindergarten. I went to a Catholic one (secular school after that). I also went to a Catholic indoctrination for children called Catechism after school up until about 3rd grade. My reaction to it was nearly exactly as the OP described. It struck me as incomprehensible and bizarre - totally out of whack with the real world. I was genuinely baffled at why I was being fed this nonsense and I didn't think any of the adults actually believed it. Like I said, I wasn't reading encyclopedias at 4-years old but I definitely read books about astronomy and evolution starting at about 3rd grade. It resonated with me. It FELT real as opposed to the insanity of Catholicism. I thought everyone must feel that way.

I understand that the ability to use rationality and logic starts to kick in around age 12 so I wasn't reasoning this through. From my personal experience, I believe some of us are hard-wired to reject things like religion. Not that I'm immune to being conned in general. I fell for Erich von Däniken's ancient astronaut theories hook line and sinker. I believed aliens were everywhere, constantly buzzing around in UFOs. Fortunately, like the guy on the Monty Python Holy Grail movie who got turned into a newt, I got better.

The point I'm trying to make is that some people do reject religion at what might seem like an impossibly early age. I did. I'm not claiming it was because of brilliance but just an innate brain wiring. I was NEVER able to accept it.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.
