You think a deliberate alteration the original text is the most likely reason the Prophet’s name isn’t mentioned in the OT? Because I’m currently entertaining an alternate thesis.

Yes, they translated the name "Mohammed" from Hebrew to "altogether desirable/altogether lovely" in English versions. Probably to never give Islam the upper hand. Notice that the first "English bible" was translated in 1382. Mohammed was born in 600 ad.

Nobody spoke about Jews; Jews who speak Hebrew read the verse as it is with "Muhammedim" written loud and clear.
It's the Christian Church that translated the name to "all together lovely" instead of "Muhammedim".
