……..why?  To what end, and what made you expect to find it….?

Same reasons kabbalists make number codes:

That David wrote to please the lord,
But you don't care for ENIGMA do ya?"

Indeed Christianity can at least be seen as a legit split from Judaism (though not without contradictions) Islam has about as much legitimacy as an Abrahamic religion as Mormonism.

I would say that islam is a much more direct split from judaism than christianity, the qu'ran is the torah repackaged for the desert semitic cultures and to justify the arab conquests of the 7th century. Christianity is much closer to the hellenistic and Egyptian mystery religions that were banging around the late republic and early principate. It's just got a few sprinkings of judaism added on top.

Thus the verse was revealed in Hebrew.

It reads in its original tongue:

חכו ממתקים וכלו מחמדים זה דודי וזה רעי בנות ירושלם׃

מחמדים  = Mohammed

The word is a noun; Boru:

The word is ‘muhammadim’, not ‘Mohammed’. The literal meaning is ‘lovely’ (source: my wife, who speaks, reads, and writes fluent Hebrew). The literal meaning of the name ‘Mohammed’ is ‘praiseworthy’.

You’re wrong.

The "im" in Hebrew is a "Plural of respect", you add the "im" to respect the referenced object meant.
Deedat says it in the video in 3:32

"Im" is plural of respect in Hebrew.

Wrong again - it is a masculine plural and doesn’t necessarily convey respect. Either way, it doesn’t really help your argument. You insist on taking a simple homonym as some sort of proof about your Prophet.

Maybe you should read the refutation links posted earlier.

Just like you should watch the Deedat video, especially minute 3:32, admit you are wrong too.

I did watch it. He’s wrong, you’re wrong. Read the refutation links written by Muslims and you’ll see just how wrong you are.

Actually only one of the articles I linked was by a Muslim but still, it's one link by a Muslim. The other two were written by Christain counter apologists but still, their counter arguments stand on the evidence from the text.

How new new magic book looks to sane people.

How new new magic book looks to an islamist.

I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

That's because the present Bible/Torah was/is corrupted, both according to the Qur'an and according to christian scholars. So if the prophet PBUH's name isn't there -a disputed thesis- it can be chalked up to an alteration of the original scripture. Puzzle solved.
