The NIMBY fucks who don' t have people sneaking in over their borders.....

Actually, DeSantis used taxpayer money to ship undocumented immigrants from Texas to Massachusetts. No Florida immigrants were involved.

In political terms, what DeSantis did is called a ‘stunt’, which takes the form of an utterly meaningless gesture done to raise a political profile.

In legal terms, what did is probably called ‘human trafficking’.

If Alex Jones and Donald Trump were both on fire but you had only one fire extinguisher, where would you hide it?

And someone doesn't  understand the difference between NIMBISM and being against politicians cyclically using migrants to "own" their political opponents and help their own political careers. So nice strawman.... Dodgy
Or, for that matter, the difference between welcoming immigrants and being okay with what basically amounts to a forced migration of dozens of immigrants. Here I was thinking that we gave up on this sort of thing at least a couple decades ago. At least when they decided they’d allow Native Americans to leave the reservations.

And the way some of them smile. You can see the insanity in it.

The smile never reaches their eyes ... that's how you know it's fake.

Also, apparently, these migrants were told they’d be given jobs and immigration papers if they went on the planes. This looks like a fairly textbook example of human trafficking, except that, from what I’ve been able to find, human trafficking seems to require some sort of benefit for the trafficker, like forced labor or sex exploitation. This case, it seems they’re looking for nothing but lulz at the prospect of Democratic leaders calling bullshit on their antics. It’d be like the Pleasure Island coachman from Pinocchio convincing all those boys to go to Pleasure Island and then, instead of bringing them there, turning them into donkeys and selling them, just dropping them off in the middle of nowhere to prove some bullshit point.

Or, on further reflection, more like the Mariel Boatlift. Specifically, an oversimplified version of the version seen in Scarface (which was, itself, a bit oversimplified.)

Is there a name for this particular type of human trafficking, their kind where they just abandon the people in question and not exploit them?
