But MCU’s Thor isn’t supposed to reflect Norse mythology, but the Thor from the Marvel comic books (granted, they don’t do that particularly well, either), which much pre-dates the Unholy Alliance.
But I agree in principle. I’d like to see a Thor portrayed more like Durin in ‘The Rings of Power’. Except for, you know, the height thing.

There also seems to be some jiggery-pokery with the money involved. DeSantis apparently spent $615 000 to fly those people out of state. That’s roughly $12 500 per person.
