'She’s not bright and she’s a bully': Voters and GOP officials in Marjorie Taylor Greene's hometown have grown 'embarrassed' by her (msn.com)
DUH
“I’m embarrassed to be from her district. She’s a national laughingstock. The things that she says, she doesn’t know basic words. She couples off with the worst people in Washington and is very annoying. She’s not bright and she’s a bully. She’s definitely not somebody you want representing where you live," she lamented. (She being a local insurance agent.)
Damn, these people are slow. Several of us knew MTG was dumb as a box of hair a long time ago.

Quote:The Right Stuff, which has been backed by Paypal co-founder Peter Thiel, promised right-wing romantics the chance to meet their true love through “profiles without pronouns” and the apparently amazing ice-breaker of complaining about left-wing politics.
A 29 September promotional video for the app, unironically titled “What Women Want,” showcased several conservative women reading out strange criteria for their ideal date, which usually ended in a dig at liberal men.
“For me, at least I know we’re going to start off with some shared values,” one said, with another saying: “I just prefer my men to be masculine.”
The exceptionally cringeworthy video then finishes with all seven women saying that an instant deal-breaker is their date being “a Democrat.”
But according to reviews after launching on Tuesday (4 October), it might be taking the masculine angle too far, with several people complaining that there are essentially no women currently using the service.
"Hey ladies. I'm here to put you in your place. Now get me a beer."
There may be others, but I know only one woman who would play along, and that's because she loves me and gets the joke.

As I posted before, MTG is not, IMO, dumb; she's a scheming, money-making fraud, akin to Ken Ham. She'll milk it for all that she can get.

Apparently, the ignorant bullying is okay from a man (Trump), just not a woman. Go figure.

Georgia is coming around quicker than the rest of the dirty south. At least it's a start.

This time, with the affairs and divorce, I think the milk is beginning to run dry.

The GOP really is going for stupid these days.
In absolute fairness, Brandon is more of a name than a word.

'We Are F**KED’: New Book Reveals How GOP Senators Bailed Out Trump During 1st Impeachment Trial
Quote:Republican senators were more deeply involved in orchestrating President Donald Trump’s defense in his first impeachment trial than previously known, according to excerpts from a forthcoming book shared exclusively with HuffPost.
In “Unchecked: The Untold Story Behind Congress’s Botched Impeachments of Donald Trump,” due out Oct. 18, Politico’s Rachael Bade and The Washington Post’s Karoun Demirjian offer a behind-the-scenes look at the two failed efforts to remove Trump from political power.
[...]
“Out of one hundred senators, you have zero who believe you that there was no quid pro quo. None. There’s not a single one,” Cruz reportedly said at one point, contradicting what Republicans were saying publicly about the charges at the time.
[...]
“This is not about this president. It’s not about anything he’s been accused of doing,” McConnell told his caucus, according to the book. “It has always been about November 3, 2020. It’s about flipping the Senate.”

Apparently, it turns out that Trump's first impeachment was even more of a shitshow than we thought. Everybody knew Trump's quid pro quo broke the law, and they still went out of their way to protect him.
And they gave Trump's defense training wheels and it was still incompetent.

As I have posted before (and, will post again), it is (at least in my opinion) the case that History will judge Trump's control over the Republican party to have been superfluous, even meaningless. He did not control the Republican Party, rather, it is they who controlled him, namely, powerful Republican Senators. Why? Because, Trump, ever the quid pro quo guru, gave the Republican leadership exactly what they wanted, a wagon train of Federalist appointed federal judges, including, three SCOTUS justices. This is why they tolerated his antics, and will tolerate him again, if he is able to maintain his health.

I disagree. It is a toxic codependency. The Republican elite are scared of Donald Trump's base. Mitch and the gang id, however, get Trump to implement their agenda.
Trump cares nothing about policy - he just wants money and adoring "fans".
