Ah yes, as we’ve been told, getting rid of vaccine mandates is a bodily sovereignty issue…so there was no need to do any impact assessment on what such a policy change would mean for health outcomes. In a state with draconian abortion laws. Nothing to see here.
Meanwhile, trumps enablers in government and his mouthpieces on infotainment television are gradually stacking up cushions so that we accept the eventual truth. They blew up a boat of immigrants, not Venezuelan narco terrorists, and this is a right and proper use of the tremendous might of the us navy, just as Steven Miller has previously asserted.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Too bad that concern for body sovereignty doesn't also count for women of child-bearing age.
All those babies born will come into a world without the necessary vaccines and protection from predators.

A long termist might suggest it’s better for babies not to be born (or brought to) the us for some time. Gonna be hard to build up a good herd of human cattle with all this excess mortality.

Florida Surgeon General: "Who am I to tell you what to put in your bodies?"
The fucking Surgeon General, that's who.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

Two things than never get old: dark humour and unvaccinated children.

It's almost as if they don't know that the doubling of our average lifespan over the last ~250 years is largely due to the advent of inoculations and vaccines.
Well, they're about to learn. Me, I'm COVID and pneumococcal current, and getting the flu shot once they've figured out the more dangerous strains this year.

It’s hard to imagine a medical advance that has saved more lives than vaccines.

Since Trump thread is closed, I might as well post this here
Quote:Trump Loyalists Pam Bondi, Kash Patel Face Lawsuit Over FBI Purge
Three senior FBI officials fired last month say they were targeted in a "campaign of retribution" carried out by a director who admitted the dismissals were "likely illegal" but gave in to political pressure from the Trump administration to protect his own job, according to a federal lawsuit filed Wednesday.
It names Director Kash Patel, Attorney General Pam Bondi, the FBI, the Justice Department and the Executive Office of the President as defendants.
The case marks a rare legal pushback from the FBI's upper ranks against a wave of departures under Trump's Republican administration that has stripped the bureau of decades of institutional knowledge. The ousted agents have accused the agency of allowing personnel decisions to be driven by White House politics rather than public safety.
"Patel not only acted unlawfully but deliberately chose to prioritize politicizing the FBI over protecting the American people," the lawsuit says. It adds that "his decision to do so degraded the country's national security by firing three of the FBI's most experienced operational leaders, each of them experts in preventing terrorism and reducing violent crime."

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Patel should have stuck to seminars.
