Florida schools are now teaching kids using “Prager University” videos, a far-right Christian propaganda organization that isn’t actually a university.
One video features a cartoon of Christopher Columbus saying, “Being taken as a slave is better than being killed!”; and that “slaves developed skills which, in some instances, could be applied for their personal benefit.”

I've never gotten that last bit. Is the notion that enslaved people couldn't have learned those skills if they were free?
