The Absurd GOP
RE: The Absurd GOP
We now know Donald Trump committed crimes to win his first election.

We know that he committed crimes to try to overturn his second election.

We are five months from the next election. Why would it be any different this time? Except that now, the GOP is his willing accomplice.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

There is something about conmen and their ability to know who to appease, and how to appease them. Donut Junket Tart's track record should speak for itself, how ever these self absorbed lackies in their quest for power and control are blinded by their own vain, narcissistic cravings, they refuse to accept that captain mushroom will drop them as soon as he has wrung every last drop of their usefulness to him.

It is mind blowing that anyone could support this ultimate piece of shit.

It appears that some in the GOP want to move their convention to before Trump’s sentencing. While perfectly legal (it’s their convention, they can have whenever they like), it strikes me as a really bad optic.

Quote:House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) on Sunday declined to give the Biden administration credit for acting on the U.S. southern border ahead of his expected executive order to clamp down on illegal immigration.

Biden is reportedly expected to sign an executive order this week that will address immigration and border security amid criticism from both parties over his handling of the situation at the border, NewsNation reported last week, citing a border community leader who requested anonymity. NewsNation is owned by Nexstar Media Group, which also owns The Hill.

When asked on “Fox News Sunday,” if Biden should receive credit for making moves for border security after months of requests from Johnson, Johnson said, “I don’t…it’s too little too late now.”

Let's see, you're the leader of the caucus that shot down not one but to bills to address the issue (because god forbid the Ukrainians have weapons to defend themselves!) ... and then you complain "too little, too late" when the president acts on his own. Your cynicism is blatant.

Mike sure does have an appropriate last name.

This clown and the rest of the sycophantic maga bozos need to derail the Biden administration in order to have squawking points come election time. They need something to sell their flock of illiterate, uneducated sheep. Keep them blind to all their lies and shortcomings, by hawking the snake oil of a weak and defective commander in chief. Peddling their own deficiencies as products of the opposing side.

A friend of nearly 25 years informed me that he can no longer be friends with me because I am not upset that the democrats are railroading the leading presidential candidate.

Trump destroys everything.
