Honest question, do you *really* need a study for everything to know if it's true or not?

I can listen to women when they tell me they feel uncomfortable with a biological male is in the restroom with them.

I can use my mind and realise, "Yeah, if you allow any man who presents as a woman to enter into a bathroom, you have just provided a mechanism for sexual predators to enter into a bathroom without drawing attention and commit a crime."

We have "segregated" bathrooms, generally intended for families to change baby diapers and for the disabled. Just use those.

Human traffickers (whom I hadn't given much thought of in the equation before now) and predators both would be licking their lips over that prospect.

-----

Just to be clear, you are arguing that transgendered feelings are more important than women's feelings?

I find it difficult to believe women speak to you...at least not more than once.

As a woman, I have NEVER had a conversation with anyone regarding the safety of a public bathroom.

Now mostly, we agree that Buc-ees has some of the cleanest bathrooms on earth but all this jibber jabber about safe bathrooms is happening in your head.

RE: The Absurd GOP
I think I have a solution.

Since a person of ANY gender identity has the possibility to be a sexual predator, let's require all public restrooms to only accommodate one person at a time. That way, this apparent plague of trans people raping women would be impossible. It would also eliminate homosexual rape (not that conservatives care much about that).

The only downside is that homophobic politicians would have to pay for hotel rooms if they want to get blown by male prostitutes, but that seems a small price to pay.

Follow me for more solutions to problems that don't exist.

This boy don't logic well Hehe

Please, define a "false dilemma fallacy."

Presenting two options as if they're the only ones available. Typically refuted by pointing out additional options, not just by crying 'fallacy!'. Because sometimes there really are only two options.

For one thing, when we still used Thimerosal in vaccines (they removed it out of an abundance of caution over a decade ago), it was at about a tenth of a milligram. The lowest lethal dose in humans is 60 milligrams per kilogram of body weight. So, a newborn 8-pound baby hypothetically receiving a thimerosal-positive vaccine would be exposed to 1/2177th of the lowest possible lethal dose. Forgive me if I don't think such a low concentration is likely to cause harm.

Drugs are notoriously easy to produce and dose, esp. in large-scale manufacturing settings.

It doesn't seem logical that variations in quality leading to an unsafe dose when an unsafe dose would be more than a thousand times the quantity of a safe dose, is reasonable. It's like thinking factory mass production of three inch long hex bolts will produce some that are 25 feet long.

And for the record, the quantity of mercury is irrelevant. It's like being worried dabout the amount of chlorine you're putting on your fries when you salt them. Thimerosol is a mercury compound, it does not have the same effects as mercury.

Facts are SO inconvenient. Smile

For the record, the LD50 of thimerosol, while it varies by species, is around 100mg/kg. I weigh close to 100kg, which means I’d have to be injected with 10 grams of pure thimerosol to have a 50% chance of dying. In what possible world is that likely to happen?

Can also point out that he can't give any real life instances of this happening let alone it leading to anything negative.

Make America Healthy Again by denying that HIV causes AIDS.

RFK Jr claims AIDS is caused by recreational drugs used by gay people and blames Fauci for people thinking that AIDS is a viral disease.

“This is not a viral disease. But it’s a disease that is environmental and it’s being caused by people who are getting autoimmunity from doing these toxins. But for Tony Fauci, it was really important to call it a virus because that made it an infectious disease.”

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
