JD Vance has declared that France and the United Kingdom having nuclear weapons will become a security threat to the United States because of the white replacement happening in Europe.

Vance’s remarks reflect a broader set of arguments he has made across multiple platforms in recent months – that Europe’s immigration policies have allowed an influx of newcomers whose cultural and religious orientations, in his view, differ significantly from the traditional values of Western nations. A bit late to be worried about that, especially since France has had nukes since before Vance’s mother was born.

Trump will accomplish to alienate the UK, whose PMs, to this day, liked to follow the US, no matter what. Quite an achievement.  
When you are the dominant economic and military power around, you can afford to alienate and bully around anybody and everybody......until you cant, and then you are usually up for a very rough awakening.

Depends if we get a PM with a spine at any point.
Labour specifically selected Starmer for being spineless which was important from the perspective of the party at the time, but obviously has consequences now.
Farage is obviously up Trumps arse and his supporters are on Putin's payroll.
The Torys are desperately trying to look as fascist as Farage.
Liberals occasionally sound like the voice of reason but they'll need to become a lot more prominent before they can challenge for the top.

More worrying is that our nukes (or the missiles they're mounted on) are on loan from the US. With the buffon in charge we might have to rethink the delivery system again...

Ive been told there is going to be a brand-new design from the US, very, very, soon. They seem have concepts of a plan to design BBs that are 100x more powerful than that!

The USN will have to change the designator "BB" from battleship to big bullseye.

In this case the Dreadnougt class are the replacements for the Vanguard class ballistic missile subs, to use the updated Trident system. I'm wondering if they could be reworked to use the French system...

SSBNs are nuclear armed and nuclear-powered submarines. The UK’s current SSBNs are those of the Vanguard Class and they maintain the UK’s Continuous at Sea Deterrent.  SSBNs guarantee our nuclear deterrent by patrolling the seas at all times, ready to respond to the most extreme threats to the UK.  
2.1 Vanguard Class

The Vanguard Class consists of four nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarines – HMS Vanguard, HMS Vengeance, HMS Victorious and HMS Vigilant. Each Vanguard Class is about 150 metres in length with a displacement of 15,900 tonnes.  Each submarine is armed with Trident II D5 missiles carrying UK nuclear warheads. 
Like the Astute Class, they are powered by a Pressurised Water Reactor. They are fitted with two periscopes which are combined into an optronic mast on the submarine’s fin. With constant power and the ability to produce water and oxygen, Vanguard’s range is only limited by the amount of food onboard. 
2.2 Dreadnought Class

My guess is that it would be difficult if not impossible to effect this exchange. Even if the missiles fit the launchers exactly, and I don't know that they do, redesign to either the missile, the submarine, or both may be required, in order to accommodate different umbilical layouts, different software, etc. The French might also not be willing to share such sensitive design and tech.

Might be better for the Brits to dust off plans for the Blue Steel warhead and modernize and adapt that to their missiles.
