Why you can't find God

Which is circular:

Premise: The Bible is infallible.

Why? Because it was written by God.

Premise; God wrote the Bible.

Why? Because the Bible says so.

What an ass you are.

In OPs defence, it can't be easy having a surname like "Abbott."

There is a type who show up here that are fond of the use of 'you people' as though we are all the same.

As soon as you see 'you people' in a post you know what you are dealing with.

I know what you're saying AWTY and yes, it's a toxic phrase. However, perhaps OP/they've drank the wokey woke Koolade that being black looking is so fundamental to identity, that being gay is so fundamental to identity, that being a Muslim is so fundamental to identity, that being atheist is so fundamental to identity etc etc etc (identity politics - to use the colloquial term) that they, these people you mention (you people?) feel justified in treating demographically "fundamentally similar" groups as being, well, fundamentally similar.

I don’t think he rage quite.    He is like a kid who had been trying for years to gather the courage for an act of vandalism that would impress his peers.   He finally gathered enough courage to run up and throw a stone through a window, bragging rights earned so he is now running away as fast as he can.

Nah, he rage quit. His feelings were hurt because we were all so mean to him (he said as much repeatedly). He got all frustrated that no one took him seriously and called him out on his stupidly preachy non-argument

A more apt metaphor might be a ten-year old who shows up at the footy match and starts kicking the other players in the jewels. When they kick him back, he shouts, ‘UNFAIR!!’, takes his ball and goes home.

That's easy. I believe those who can back up their claims with evidence. Usually, people who claim that Earth is 4 billion years old have evidence, while those who claim it's 6000 years old don't.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

God is hiding. Sits in his quantum space and wanking his dick at how awesome and mighty he is. Wanker.

I missed a fun one here.  A theist claims all his knowledge comes from God, then proceeds to show little to none.  Thanks, dude.
