AD v. AF
#11
RE: AD v. AF
I post about as frequently over there as I do here, which is to say not very often in either case. Ultimately I feel a bit more at home here, even though a lot of old friends migrated over there. As a primarily mobile user, the lack of a mobile site there is offputting whereas the one here is beautiful imo... perhaps something as superficial as that shouldn't be a clincher for me, but it certainly does play a part. As for content, I'd say the two sites are pretty similar, though this site has a much more fleshed out philosophy section (but that's probably just a function of time)... but since that's probably overall my biggest interest on these forums, AF wins out for me as it stands.

I can say this place is subjectively better.

For one they have a rape apologist who hasn't been banned.

I only found out about it while trying to get to the bottom of the Great Blackout of April 2022. I keep it bookmarked, but only in the event that the main forum craps out again.

This place has an islamist and several trolls who have not been banned.

I'm glad that they've not been banned. They are living examples of what's wrong with religious thinking. I read that at the Guantanamo Bay prison the US guards were teaching the prisoners mathematics; it is clear that there is a reason for that.

I love a good board war.  There will never be another like the great Woopig vs Hogville fracas of ought four.

When I was looking for a godless place to read and post, I made an account there.  I had forgotten about it until this place disappeared a while back.
