So we're Just going to post quotes out of context?
Genesis
1. And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord.

2 And she again bare his brother Abel.

It is possible for a woman to give birth to two children with different fathers, Eve was already pregnant before Adam 'knew her.

Cain is NOT included in the genealogy of Adam.

No sensible person with a basic understanding of grammar would take from the above that Eve was preggers before she copulated with Adam.

As for the 'genealogy of Adam', I have to assume you're referring to Genesis 5 (correct me if I'm wrong), which is actually the genealogy of Noah, who was a descendant of Seth, so why would Cain be included?

This is an incomplete thought/sentence.

Let me complete it: Only the willfully ignorant believe that Eve was impregnated by a snake.

Of course, that's real world stuff and not the stuff of the fairy tales that consume you.

So we're Just going to resort to bad faith arguments?  It clearly states in the vary first verse...

1 This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;
Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, and after his image; and called his name Seth:

The reason why Cain would be included is because the genealogy is traced through the firstborn son, which Cain was, yet he isn't included in Adam's genealogy.

Here's why you’re a willful ignoramus... I've literally stated that at the time he impregnated Eve he wasn't a snake, he was something between a human and neanderthal so for all intents and purposes he was a human like creature, he was turned into a snake as punishment.

"And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:" - Genesis  3:14

And, I thought the ideas of Scientology were crazy. Seriously, where is the evidence of a snake/human cross?

‘Generations’ is not the same as ‘genealogy’. The former is who is descended from you, the latter is who you’re descended from (if it was Adam’s genealogy, it would simply read ‘God’).

It’s intended to show Noah’s descent from Adam, through Seth. Since Cain wasn’t Noah’s direct ancestor, it wouldn’t make sense to mention Cain. Nothing to do with snake DNA.

Another way of reading that is that God understood evolution and cursed the snake from evolving, since he doesn’t say anything remotely like ‘I curse the and remove thy legs’. And - for the record - snakes don’t eat dust.

The Hebrew word used for the serpent in Genesis is ‘nahash’. It means ‘snake’ in the common, everyday slithery reptile sense.

So now were attempting to argue semantics?

Quote:Genealogy. [N]

In Hebrew the term for genealogy or pedigree is "the book of the generations;"

The 'generations' of Noah mentions ALL of his sons, and the 'generations' of Noah son mentions ALL of their sons, yet the 'generations' of Adam leave out Cain.
Quote:Genesis 6
9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

10 And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

Quote:Genesis 10
1 Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood.

2 The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.

Quote:6 And the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan.

Quote:22 The children of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.
