For one, it's not a school's place to introduce sex toys to minors. Second, any minor already interested in sex toys could find information on the internet. Third, it's not actually about sex education but rather queer pedagogy.

1)  So, the party that wants the government to stay out of private business is now demanding the government step in and tell a private school what they can and can't teach?

2)  Depending on what is taught and how it's taught, I don't think it's bad that sex toys are taught to kids.  I've heard of a lot of kids get into a lot of trouble because they believe bad schoolyard rumors that turned out to not be true.  I mean, I knew a girl whose boyfriend convinced her that Mountain Dew was an effective contraceptive and he couldn't get her pregnant because he drank a two liter a day.

3)  Finding stuff online isn't an effective education for anything.  That's how garbage info gets spread.  That's how you find out about a Nigerian prince that needs access to your bank account info so he can give you millions of dollars.  It's better to educate kids on the facts of sex education compared to letting them figure it out on their own.

4)  "Queer pedagogy" seems to be acknowledging the existence of LGBT people.  I don't think that's a bad thing at all.  When I was a teen in the 90's, you couldn't come out as trans and being openly gay was marginally acceptable in some very LGBT friendly areas.  Now a days, my daughter lives in suburban Oklahoma, she is openly lesbian, she has many LGBT friends in high school, asking someone what their pronouns are and people are saying this is "queer pedagogy."  I don't know about you, but I like that the world now gives kids more freedom to explore who and what they are.

5)  You still have yet to provide a reliable source that says this is a problem.  Veritas is not a reliable source and if they're the only ones talking about something, I feel safe disregarding it.

6)  You continue to underestimate how manipulative "reporters" can be, especially reporters with an agenda funded by the Murdoch and Koch families.

Maybe we could get some clarity on that.  Do you believe, Dio, that you could be taught to be gay?

I get the impression that he meant ‘queer’ in the sense of strange or bizarre, not gay.

One thing about sex toys: they can't get anyone pregnant.

It can be, but it probably helps if you have a working crap detector and you know what stuff to avoid. Funny thing, all I had to do was google the phrase "Nigerian Prince" and before I even have to scroll down, I see a shitton of information explaining that this is a scam. I can even click on one of the "People also ask" questions and find out that Nigeria doesn't even have princes. Of course, finding that out hinges on the person in question having some sort of critical thinking skills. And a lot of people don't. And the Republican Party's furor over kids being taught about shitty things America did is a pretty good indicator that they don't want people to have those skills.
