It really didn't knock me down any pegs, I am fortunate enough that there exists on this world an herb that removes the vexations of the heart, and I thank God daily that it exists. Really you should try it some time, or are you afraid you might believe in God too? Once you remove that hatred in your heart, that black miasma that you've allowed to corrupt you.

I'm not afraid that smoking weed would ever lmfao believe a magical made up character. I've grown out of that believing in fairy tales in my life. It's hilarious that you still do and come here to the forum, to try to convince us there is a 'god' that's the real joke here. This is great entertainment for me. Imagine, yeah I'm going to go waste my life away and time, I can never get back, explaining to atheists, why a 'god' exists lmfao.

Meh, energy probably is the essence of sentience, in the same way that mint is the essence of mint chocolate chip ice cream.   I'm not so sure energy is alive though, and...frankly, it seems cross purpose to assert as much, considering that we're proposing a sentient entity which would not be alive by any of the many loose definitions of life - and so, we have a problem.  The thing you want to tell us about, a god, a creator with a capital c, is unlikely to be an animal..for example... in your description of it.  Just as your own example of a sentient rock.  The rock is sentient, but not alive.  Like AI might be.   Is energy malfunctioning in the case of rocks, ai, and gods, or can we dispense with the second assertion as a failure of your own imagination or terms - in favor of preserving the first?

Exactly the issue, yes.  There are many things which are alive but not sentient, and no reason to assume that all sentient things are or have to be alive.  

If we absolutely insist, then we can consider only those sentient things as living things, but we'll need a new term for those previously categorized-as living things to avoid further confusion.  Bioautomata is out, even though it probably describes the conceptual set, as it acknowledges that non sentient things can be alive. What do you propose? Or, conversely, we can decide to categorize only living things as sentient things, in which case we're going to have a hell of alot of trouble arguing for a god.

Brothers! Its been a long long time since I've been on an atheist forum, not since the days that I myself was an atheist, I was a hardcore atheist for 10 years but started believing in God again once I started smoking marijuana.

Good stuff.

Anyways I posit to you that Energy is the Essence of Sentience. That Energy is actually ALIVE, I have a pamphlet for this entire thing but its going to be published in the book I'm writing which I am calling ******. Of course if Energy is actually itself Sentience then the entire cosmos which is made of Energy would be essentially a Sentient Entity that we might call... God.

Just putting this out here to tease you all a little bit, not doing to much to prove it to you, I already do that in my book. Just something for you to mull over ^-^

I'm going to have a lot of fun with this forum.
