You never once give the properties of what it takes to be an "advanced" country as well.

I said 'advanced society'. And by that I mean the amount of educated and well behaved individuals. In a society populated mostly by educated and well behaved individuals is a society that should have really low crime rates, better productivity and efficientcy. I never said that any country like your's is not advance. If I did, could you please point it out?

I don't know what else to call a very law biding, rational group of people. I say advanced because it is. A society that has very little crime, mostly populated by intelligent people, is a society I would call advanced. Especially when you compare it to some other societies where crime is high and life is hard. What would you call it?

Soldiers doing their duty is completely differant from carrying fire arms around public areas and gunning down unarmed civilians. Am I right or wrong?

When a military man drops a bomb, does he not know that anyone, child or adult, can be killed by such an action? Yet he does it anyways?

That's called following orders and doing your duty. War is a sick thing but if you really hate the idea of firing at people you don't know, then don't sign up!

You're twisting it around. Soldiers fight for their country and follow orders, it's what they signed up for. There's a heck of a differance between civilians firing at each other and a soldier doing his duty.

No it doesn't. Where there is a weakling without guns who I could easily assault, I can just as easily relieve the weakling of his gun or break his trigger hand by force before assaulting him. He would be better off carrying a club or knife that would actually be useful for the purpose of resisting disarmament.

You see, if you're walking down the street and a guy says "Hey, buddy..." you don't know if his next words will be "stick 'em up" or "do you know the time." If you whip your gun out and its the latter you're going to look pretty stupid. In fact, I wouldn't let someone like that own a gun.
