The CHAZ 

Ultimately i believe it was a failure. Not of ideology but of execution. But the Right have conducted all manor of lies and misrepresentations and just outright libel to push their pro cop agenda .

1. That the CHAZ was autonomous . It never was . It used city utilities . The right only call it  autonomous so they can gaslight the crime rate while ignoring the national average . Which the CHAZ was well within even without cops .

2. The 500% misrepresentation were they argue crime went up 500% that same time last year . That sounds scary till you realize last year was an extremely low crime rate in seattle and that crime had been on the rise before the CHAZ was established and that rests under the assumption it qualified as autonomous which it was not . 

3. They were Extorting people . This is 100% false 

4. That residence were protesting against it . Turns out those protesters were white nationalists

5. That there was segregation. Their proof of this was one sign that turns out was torn down 

6. That residents were calling for the police but the cops were delayed . This is false it was surrounding area and there is evidence the cops were intentionally delaying their response       

7. Most videos from the CHAZ lacked context and were dishonestly framed . 

8. The Shooting of black men has been used to argue some sort of hypocrisy .Yet no one in the CHAZ said no black person would ever die of anything other then police brutality s that's just dumb 

9. That business owners were against it . When in fact most supported the protests 

Overall the CHAZ was a failure but if were going to talk about it we should at least be honest.

Inspired by this week's episode of What the Fuck is Wrong With You?, an interesting idea:

A man poses as a hitman, and when someone comes to him with a request, strings them along just long enough to get the money, and reports the customer to the police before doing anything. Interesting, but I can't be sure of the long-term viability of such a plan.

The news story that inspired it. And the obviously fake website she tried to solicit a murder from.

I got into an argument with a guy who called BLM hypocrites because they aren't protesting slavery in Libya . And went on a rant about how the slavery is Obama's fault because he launched the invasion of libya .This is dumb 

1. You can protest America's issues black America which began with slavery without protesting slavery half an ocean away . Because BLM protests aren't about slavery exclusively even if they have called for the removal of monuments to slavery as a part of their protest .

2. Blaming Obama is stupid because Slavery existed in Libya before the war and this guys a hypocrite because he's against taking in refugees despite the fact that's what most of the slaves are . Oh he's also a Trump supporter which is hilarious because Trump was for the war in Libya

"Qaddafi in Libya is killing thousands of people, nobody knows how bad it is, and we're sitting around we have soldiers all have the Middle East, and we're not bringing them in to stop this horrible carnage and that's what it is: It's a carnage."

We could do it surgically, stop him from doing it, and save these lives. This is absolutely nuts. We don't want to get involved and you're gonna end up with something like you've never seen before."
