One place I used to work, we had a process where we used Beryllia for high power wave guide windows, due to the lower loss tangent, compared to Alumina. The handling protocols were right up there with Uranium. I think Beryllia is worse, due to more immediate effects, TBH. Guh, so glad I'll never wear a moon suit again!

Must be a pretty good concert band to be tackling Super Mario Brothers. Band is the Manitoba Millennium Band, kind of a summer "all stars" group composed of die-hard music geeks from all the other concert bands in the region. We're doing the version composed by Koji Kondo and arranged by Takashi Hoshide. Here's a college band performing it:
It's the weekend, I just took my daughter to the park, a bed to the tip, now do I deserve a KFC? All signs point to yes.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them. Impersonation is treason. RE: Random Thoughts

Listening to "children"(dream version) by Robert Miles and to "Ruhe" (Alya remix) by Schiller, brought me back to my high school Raider Challenge workouts. Specifically, while listening to this type of music, we'd do 20 step pyramids: steps 1-10, do as many pushups as you can in 1 minute and rest for 30 seconds; steps 11-20, do as many pushups as you can in 30 seconds and rest for 15 seconds. In addition, we did the same workout for sit ups and then did 20 minute stair runs in our high school auditorium. Most of us would average somewhere around 300 to 400 plus pushups during this workout.
P.S. I still do these workouts and am able to perform over 400 pushups on a good day. In order to have a great workout, I just think of my coach's motivational cheers/sayings during our raider workouts, so that I can have that extra boost.

Spam musubi. Must have it.
Or must I?

Trust me, you do not want to know.
Really. The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
