I'm baffled when some individuals make broad generalizations about groups of people based on the attributes of a particular person within that group. For example, in mathematics, as fascinating as the integers are, it would be shortsighted of me to assume that the properties of a particular integer must apply to all integers, and it would be logically reckless of me to assume/assert that such properties must apply to the uncountable set of real numbers. However, it appears human generalizations, especially those generalizations that are directed toward other people, have the unfortunate tendency of increasing exponentially into the realm of the uncountable and often at a rate of warp speed--perhaps warp 10 in the absence of sound logic, proof, and reason.

Looks like a divide-by-zero issue. Throw in some dirt. (That's the old FORTRAN programmer coming out in me).
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.
I think I'm the only person in NH who can't stand Recycled Percussion. They're a less talented, far less interesting Blue Man Group, but everyone around here is gaga over them because they reached minor celebrity status with their run on America's Got Talent 10 years ago, and their Vegas show, which has apparently been the same for at least the last 5 years.
It's like a damn cult around here.

Drew Barrymore is looking so yummy lately.
Too little time on my hands? Bollocks. There's (almost) 24 hours in a day, I just need to get my act together and make the most of it.

I've heard people ask where have all the good men gone?
There are good men? Playing Cluedo with my mum while I was at Uni: "You did WHAT? With WHO? WHERE???" RE: Random Thoughts

Wish I'd done that, body surfing is all I've tried. Liked it. No way a multifaceted, hottie like you shouldn't have a good guy. In my less than fully humble opinion, sometimes women have too definite an idea of how a good guy should be. Maybe scratch below the surface? (Trying to be helpful here.) |
