I like my hair fairly long.
I can at least tie it up if required. I honestly don't think short hair would suit me.

Best I can do is in a scarf and wooly hat.

A little overdressed, but ok.
And short hair doesn’t suit me either.

This will be the eventual reason my husband and I divorce or one of us kills the other one...I'll let you figure out who is most homicidal.
He sets the toaster for incinerate...every damned time. I seldom think to check because who the hell does that????? and I end up with inedible bread cinders.
My SO does that shit too... But then she claims a chocolate chip cookie that is fully cooked and not half raw in the middle is "burnt".
You kill mine, I'll kill yours. They'll NEVER catch us....

Really the only food-type issue we have is that Ellen is CONSTANTLY try to get me on artificial or non-sugar sweeteners.
I would mind so much if she’d just bring them home and ask me to try them, but nooooo. She empties out the sugar bowl when I’m not watching and replaces that sweet goodness with some gunk that is about as much like cane sugar as a potato is like a peacock.
And it isn’t even a health issue! I’m not overweight, I’m not diabetic - I’ve go no sugar-related issues at all. And I don’t even use that much. I take sugar in tea and coffee, but I infrequently eat sweets, I don’t drink pop, and I haven’t had alcohol in 21 years.
She just wants to me to like the fake stuff as much as she does.

I really tried with a sugar substitute...I did. I mostly use sugar when I make iced tea which is what my husband and I drink most of the time.
To save him from this experiment, suggested by my doctor, I would make and label two different pitchers so husband wouldn't accidentally get the wrong stuff.
Experiment fail. Then I tried going with half and half (sugar/substitute). Again, I really tried. Because that fake crap is so expensive I was determined to stick to it. Finally I threw it all away and returned to sugar.
My doctor had told me my A1C was borderline but now I know that either she can't read lab results or they are testing someone else's blood.
That stuff is nasty. Ellen should be nicer to you and not make you consume that drek.

It’s actually become a game - she’s holding out a hope that she’ll slip in a substitute and I won’t notice.
As if.

My daughter's mother-in-law made this comment - The first time I was pregnant with Anthony...
Some digging by my daughter got to the bottom of this odd statement. Apparently there was a miscarriage between my son-in-law and his younger brother, Anthony.
Mother-in-law thinks she was pregnant twice with the same kid.
I will probably never sleep again. I cannot process the fact that there are people with this level of lunacy running around unsupervised.

Not really related, but it reminds of a family get-together where one of my brothers brought his two months’ pregnant wife. Mum set a bowl of raw potatoes in from of her and said, ‘Peel these, please.’
Annie looked at the spuds, looked at Mum and said, ‘But..but...I’m pregnant!’
Mum gave her the look that made us run for cover when we were kids and said, ‘I asked you to peel them, not plant them.’
