Yeah. I was in IT at the time. I went in to work (3 sites) on a Sunday to check everything.

I was on a stage in Belfast when 2000 hit. Most of the crowd was so out of their minds on heroin and shortbread, I don’t think they cared.

There were the crazies thinking planes are going to fall out of the sky and elevators are going to drop. We were running servers (old even by them days) which had very simple bioses. My main concern was that the reports for the Monday managers meetings were accurate. Truthfully, it was a complete non event. I had already changed the bios on all of them as a test 2 weeks earlier
