A dog can eat a dead gopher that has been dessicating in a pile of donkey shit and suffer no ills.
I seriously doubt a few parbroiled ants will bother them.
Except for Quinn who suffers stomach issues with the smallest change in diet or tiniest taste of a new food. Actually, I think I suffer more than he does.

The dogs would probably be fine, I agree. But it’s a risk that shouldn’t be taken - some ants are toxic when eaten and some dogs have allergies.
As I understand it, arewe’s dogs are on the small side. Safer just to give them fresh, un-antified food.
