Twins seem to bring out the stupid in people.  I have an aunt and uncle who are twins and over the years people have actually asked if they were identical.   Doh

A good friend of mine, Sarah, has a twin. People often ask me how I can tell them apart.

I always have to tell them that Roger has a beard.

No, a courtesy would be, ‘Your twins are adorable!’ (even - or especially - if they’re not).  ‘Are they twins?’ is just a stupid thing to say.

My wife was taking my eldest to school (1st grade) and a gal asked if her children were triplets, because they all looked so much alike. 6, 4 and 1 years old. She said, "Yes, they're just different ages".  Hehe
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.
