Eleven years ago, at this hour, I was on the operating table having a bilateral mastectomy done and tissue expanders put in to start the reconstruction process. I was told I may have three years if I didn't do chemo and radiation. What I had was three years of pain and nerve damage that finally resolved. No chemo, no rads...still here.

One Argument that peddled by the right is the Martin Luther King hated socialism so black people should become conservatives . This is stupid for four reasons
1. Martin Luther didn't hate socialism he didn't agree with the secular tenets of Communism 2. Martin Luther worked with Socialists 3. Luther Agreed with Socialist and even Communists on critiques of Capitalism and Colonialism 4. Who cares MLK was just a man . Black people probably shouldn't define politics by one mans beliefs

I am happy that you understand you but if you are trying to communicate with others it might do you well to speak clearly. RE: Random Thoughts

I thought it was a little muddled myself. It would have been clearer if you’d used ‘King’ after the opening paragraph.
I kind of agree with your general sentiment, though. Boru

Again who in their right mind would think a 14th century theologian would be talking about communism or the opinion of a guy who literally supported slavery being used as a means to sway black people to Conservatism .

Openly supported chattel slavery so he's clearly African American icon who's words hold huge sway over their populous ![]() Martin Luther King Jr. An African American civil rights icon and religious leader who lived during the cold war and was a critic of Communism. Because you know because it existed when he was alive . Now who could possibly have been talking about ?
