I hear tell that there is or was a brothel called the "Chicken Ranch" in Nevada, USA. Not going to do the research.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.
There's a biker bar/restaurant in the Myrtle Beach area named Suck, Bang, Blow. They are pretty popular especially during the bike rallys.

There's a group of people in the neighborhood who are having a fit over a proposed apartment complex being built near our neighborhood. One thing that is lacking in this town is the availability of rental properties for people who aren't in a position to buy a home or people who want to try out the town. We have a new college campus but no housing to accommodate students.
One of the gripes for this group is that apartment dwellers wouldn't respect our small town vibe or our old, established neighborhoods. The group wants people to turn out for a meeting tomorrow night (yep - a week and a half after Christmas and days after New Year's Eve) to fight this invasion of people who won't respect the homeowners. How do I know about this? The note, printed on both sides, that was taped to my front door - right above the "No Soliciting" sign. “If you are the smartest person in the room, then you are in the wrong room.” — Confucius 
In terms of actual dollars, I’m MUCH closer to being a millionaire than Jeff Bezos is.

We've had Pandora on shuffle for a couple hours now. Apparently our African Grey really likes the Disturbed cover of "The Sound of Silence".
She had been quiet but started chattering and whistling when the song came on. Now she's quiet again. Maybe, like Boru, she doesn't care for the Eagles.
